HELPING SISTERS IN NEED
Sisterhood is not a destination, but a journey. As sisters in Alpha Gamma Delta, one of the most important aspects of sisterhood is being there for each other – for a lifetime. To honor that commitment, the Foundation proudly offers aid to sisters who experience natural disasters or similar emergency situations
DISASTER RELIEF GRANTS
Grants provide financial assistance to Alpha Gamma Delta sisters in Good Standing, faced with immediate emergency needs due to a disaster, to assist with essentials such as shelter and food for continuing daily living. Disaster events may include, but are not limited to, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and other natural disasters; fire or other emergency situations.
Grants are awarded in the amount of $500 per disaster event per recipient. No repayment is required. The number of awards available may be limited by budget and available resources. An application is not required, however personal information must be collected for expedited processing*.
Should a member need additional support, they may apply for a SIS Grant from the Foundation. An application, financial records and documentation of financial need are required to receive SIS Grants.
